Experienced Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The finance team of QR Accountant is seeking an experienced accountant to lead financial reporting and compliance activities on a fully remote basis. The role focuses on accurate ledger maintenance, timely tax preparation, and supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, examine and analyse financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain the general ledger with accurate, up‑to‑date entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Coordinate tax preparation activities and ensure timely filing.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP Financial Accounting and Oracle for data management and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of proven experience in accounting, financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently, organise tasks efficiently and communicate clearly with finance stakeholders.
