Fabric Inspection & Grading Manager (Head of Inspection)

About the role

Crescent Bahuman Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Fabric Inspection and Grading department. The role oversees inspection of both denim and non‑denim fabrics, ensuring every finished piece meets rigorous quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 inspectors, driving productivity and KPI performance.
• Supervise 100% inspection compliance for denim and non‑denim fabrics.
• Identify and document fabric defects, shade variations, GSM deviations, skew and bow.
• Conduct defect analysis, develop corrective actions, and implement continuous‑improvement programs.
• Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, audit reports, and stay updated on industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in fabric inspection and grading.
• Proven leadership experience managing inspection teams.
• Strong analytical abilities and a focus on quality excellence.
