Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the accounting function for one or more US‑based entities. The ideal candidate has managed full‑cycle accounting, driven month‑end close processes, and partnered with senior leadership to deliver reliable financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting for multiple US entities, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and produce accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting and cash‑management activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with accounting policies and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Support ERP implementation, migration and automation initiatives.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work.
• Act as a trusted finance partner, providing insights and recommendations to business leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience with significant exposure to US accounting standards.
• Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant or Fractional CFO.
