Frontend Engineer – JavaScript (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to join a leading technology and IT consulting firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining user‑facing features for a platform that connects global talent with AI‑driven workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Implement responsive, accessible UI components that follow design system guidelines.
• Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure high‑quality code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and frontend bugs.

Required profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React or a comparable framework.
• Experience with state‑management solutions such as Redux or the Context API.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and modern CSS methodologies.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack or Vite.
• Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Comfortable using Git for version control.
