General Manager / COO – FMCG & Dairy Operations

About the role

ELC Biotechnology is seeking a seasoned General Manager / Chief Operating Officer to steer the company through its next phase of growth. The role will oversee all operational functions, from supply chain and international trade to the commissioning of a new processing facility, supporting both domestic and export markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance across all functions.
• Manage and expand the import/export framework, handling export documentation and trade finance.
• Oversee supply‑chain and procurement activities across geographically dispersed locations, particularly within the dairy sector.
• Develop and launch a new manufacturing/processing plant, coordinating with engineering, regulatory and commercial teams.
• Build and mentor high‑performing teams, strengthening operational controls and driving sustainable growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior management experience in FMCG, dairy, food & beverage or related industries.
• Proven track record in international trade, import/export operations, and supply‑chain management.
• Experience managing relationships with international customers, suppliers, strategic partners and regulators.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale manufacturing or processing projects.
