Hybrid QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) – Healthcare

About the role

We are looking for a versatile QA Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. In this hybrid position you will balance manual testing with building robust automation frameworks, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements and create detailed test plans and cases.
• Execute manual tests to validate functionality, usability, performance, and EHR compliance.
• Document, track, and verify defects using issue‑tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing to maintain stability of existing features.
• Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automation frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Convert manual test cases into automated scripts and build reusable libraries.
• Run automated functional, integration, and end‑to‑end test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Conduct REST API testing and support cross‑browser, cloud‑based execution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA peers to define testing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing (both manual and automation).
• Hands‑on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and align with US business hours.
