Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lahore. You will lead the planning, execution and reporting of internal audits across financial and operational processes to ensure compliance, accuracy and effective internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audits covering financial and operational areas.
• Assess risks, review accounting records and evaluate internal control frameworks.
• Perform financial audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings to leadership and follow up on remediation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop audit methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial and control systems.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Solid finance and accounting knowledge to assess statements, transactions and reporting accuracy.
• Expertise in internal controls, including design, implementation and assessment of effectiveness.
• Experience conducting financial audits – planning, testing, documentation and reporting.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; certifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities to present findings clearly.
• Proven ethical conduct, confidentiality and sound judgment in a corporate environment.
• Prior experience in internal audit, risk management or assurance roles, preferably within HR, services or organizational development sectors.
