Investment Funds Attorney – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Attorney to join a leading global investment management firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on providing legal guidance for fund formation, compliance, and transactional matters across a range of asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate fund documents such as limited partnership agreements, side letters, and subscription agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance under U.S. securities laws, ERISA, and applicable tax regulations.
• Conduct due diligence for fund investments and identify potential conflicts of interest.
• Support fund closings, capital calls, and distributions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements.

Required profile

• Admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in funds or investment‑management law.
• Proven ability to handle fund formation, compliance, and transactional documentation.
