Investment Funds Attorney – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Attorney to join a leading global investment management firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on providing legal guidance for fund formation, compliance, and transactional matters across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation such as limited partnership agreements, side letters and subscription agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance under U.S. securities laws, ERISA and relevant tax regulations.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews for fund investments and identify potential conflicts of interest.
• Support fund closings, capital calls and distribution processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing alignment of fund operations with legal requirements.

Required profile

• Admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum three years of experience in funds or investment‑management law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle fund formation, compliance and transactional documentation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of securities regulations including Regulation D, Regulation S and Rule 10b‑5.
