Law Clerk (Remote) – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support a global leader in commercial real estate and energy. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, lease agreements, and related transactional documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law matters, including regulatory compliance and due diligence.
• Assist in managing transactional documentation, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for ongoing and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy sectors.
• Strong attention to detail in document management and compliance tracking.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and lease agreements.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar tools.

What we offer

• Contract position with compensation ranging from $40 to $55 per hour.
