Legal Expert – Remote Part‑Time (Gig‑Economy Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Expert to work remotely on a part‑time basis, providing guidance for a leading technology platform that connects freelancers with micro‑tasks. You will help ensure that the platform’s policies and operations comply with relevant local and international laws.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Assess and mitigate intellectual property disputes and other risk areas.
• Support the resolution of user disputes and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience reviewing and drafting contracts for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical abilities and capacity to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
