Linux & Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

The Senior Linux & Infrastructure Administrator will manage, monitor and support Tasdeeq’s enterprise server and infrastructure environment. The focus is on RHEL Linux servers, Nginx load balancers, VMware virtualization, enterprise storage, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot production RHEL Linux servers, including installation, patching, user management and security hardening.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Nginx load balancers on RHEL VMs, manage SSL/TLS certificates and resolve load‑balancing errors.
• Provision, monitor and troubleshoot Linux virtual machines on VMware ESXi/vSphere, handling CPU, memory, storage and network resources.
• Support Dell SAN/enterprise storage, manage LUNs, multipathing and capacity planning.
• Implement backup and disaster‑recovery procedures, troubleshoot failures and participate in DR testing.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash/Shell scripts and basic Ansible playbooks, and monitor system health.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience, preferably with RHEL production environments.
• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA (preferred), RHCE (highly preferred) and VMware certifications are an advantage.
