Machine Learning Engineer – Computer Vision (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Python‑focused Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of computer‑vision solutions for a leading AI research client. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to turn cutting‑edge research into production‑ready models that drive real business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end ML pipeline, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model design, training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Translate business objectives into robust computer‑vision architectures that capture domain‑specific logic.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define problem statements, success metrics, and delivery timelines.
• Evaluate, optimize, and scale models for performance, accuracy, and reliability using state‑of‑the‑art techniques.
• Stay current with AI/ML research and integrate relevant innovations into production systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on data‑science and machine‑learning development experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Data‑analysis libraries: pandas, numpy.
• Machine‑learning frameworks: scikit‑learn, PyTorch, Keras.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, time‑series forecasting, and natural language processing.
• Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model tuning.
