Managing Director – Pakistan

About the role

WhiteBIT is seeking a Managing Director for Pakistan to lead its market entry and growth. The role will be responsible for establishing the company’s presence, securing licences and building a high‑performing team in a regulated fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of WhiteBIT’s success in Pakistan, including market strategy and business development.
• Lead licensing efforts with local regulatory bodies and ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws.
• Act as the primary public face of WhiteBIT in Pakistan, managing relationships with investors, partners and authorities.
• Develop and maintain realistic, high‑yield budgets and business plans for the region.
• Recruit, lead and motivate a local team to achieve commercial and operational targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years experience in financial services, FinTech or payments, with a strong reputation in the Pakistani finance sector.
• Proven track record of launching new products, services or business segments in a regulated environment.
• Experience working in senior management roles such as Director or MLRO, and familiarity with AML/CFT and operational risk oversight.
• Established network with Pakistani financial authorities and the ability to leverage personal connections.
• Strong leadership, communication and personal brand within the local finance community.
• Fit‑and‑proper declaration with no criminal convictions or regulatory disqualifications.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of crypto assets, virtual‑asset management processes and payment rails (B2B & B2C).
• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and risk‑management frameworks.
• Ability to develop and implement company development strategies and make data‑driven decisions.
