Marketplace Operations Intern

About the role

The Marketplace Operations Intern will support daily e‑commerce and marketplace activities, helping to increase product visibility and streamline order fulfillment. This hands‑on role offers exposure to digital product listings, inventory coordination, and sustainability‑focused commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain marketplace listings with accurate titles, descriptions, categories, and images.
• Coordinate with sourcing and inventory teams to track stock levels, update availability, and prevent stockouts or overselling.
• Support order processing and fulfillment workflows, liaising with logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery updates.
• Monitor marketplace metrics and customer feedback, identify listing errors, returns, or complaints, and propose corrective actions.
• Implement pricing updates, promotional campaigns, and bundle offers aligned with sustainability messaging.
• Prepare routine reports on sales performance, top‑selling SKUs, return rates, and marketplace trends.

Required profile

• Familiarity with e‑commerce marketplaces; experience with Daraz, Amazon, or local platforms preferred.
• Strong attention to detail for product data entry, SKU management, and content accuracy.
• Basic understanding of inventory management concepts and order fulfillment processes.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets for data tracking, reporting, and simple analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication for liaising with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset to identify and resolve listing issues, customer queries, and order exceptions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced startup environment and manage multiple workflows.
• Interest in sustainability and eco‑friendly products is a plus.
