Medical Billing Expert

About the role

UT Management is looking for a Medical Billing Expert to join its Lahore office. The role will manage end‑to‑end medical billing operations, ensure accurate claim submission, and support revenue recovery while maintaining compliance with local billing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage authorizations and pre‑certifications for healthcare services, including PIP auto insurance.
• Perform insurance verification and benefits eligibility checks.
• Submit, track, and follow up on claims through online portals.
• Handle denial management, prepare appeals, and correct rejected claims.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and generate billing reports.
• Coordinate with medical coders to ensure coding accuracy (ICD, CPT, HCPCS or local equivalents).
• Communicate with clients, payers, collections, and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Support revenue cycle optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• Hands‑on experience with claim submission, follow‑up, and denial management.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification, eligibility checks, and pre‑authorizations specific to Pakistan.
• Familiarity with medical coding concepts (ICD, CPT, HCPCS or local equivalents).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Clear communication skills for client‑facing coordination.
