About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Medical Billing Virtual Assistant to join our growing team in Islamabad. The role supports front‑desk operations, insurance verification, patient communication, appointment scheduling, and various administrative tasks for U.S. healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients.
- Handle patient billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support providers with administrative and billing‑related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant.
- Knowledge of PPO, Commercial, Medicaid & Medicare insurance plans.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Required skills
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems.
- Experience with billing portals.
- Familiarity with Therapy Notes (a plus).
