Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research to join a leading software development organization on a full‑time remote basis. In this role you will research and analyse complex legal and regulatory frameworks, translating them into technical requirements that guide product development and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to inform product decisions.
• Develop technical frameworks and tools that automate legal‑research processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and design teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines to ensure legal compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience with legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into clear technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
