Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specializing in legal research to join a leading software development organization. The position is fully remote and focuses on analyzing complex legal and regulatory frameworks, translating them into technical requirements, and building solutions that keep products compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and implement technical frameworks and tools that automate legal research workflows.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on translating legal concepts into technical specifications.
