Network & System Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Network & System Support Engineer to manage our resilient IT infrastructure, data‑center operations and Fortinet‑based network environment. You will work across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms, enforce endpoint security standards and ensure high system availability from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain multi‑platform devices via MDM solutions, enforce security baselines and automate patch management.
• Administer cross‑platform OS environments, core infrastructure services and virtualization platforms to optimise performance and uptime.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WLAN setups, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAP access points, switches and cabling.
• Manage multi‑ISP links for failover and high availability, and oversee daily data‑center performance, hardware lifecycle and capacity planning.
• Deploy and monitor XDR/EDR and DLP solutions, investigate security alerts and participate in incident response.
• Execute backup, restore and disaster‑recovery protocols with regular testing to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in system administration, network support or IT infrastructure operations.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux (Ubuntu) administration.
• MDM tools – Intune, Jamf, Kandji or Workspace ONE.
• Fortinet ecosystem – FortiGate firewalls, FortiAP, FortiClient VPN and enterprise switches.
• Core networking protocols – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• XDR/EDR solutions – CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender.
• DLP implementation and backup/disaster‑recovery workflows.
