Outbound Sales Representative – Moving & Transportation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to generate revenue for a U.S.-based moving and transportation company. The role is fully remote and focuses on outbound and inbound tele‑sales, guiding prospects from first contact through to a booked move.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound cold calls and warm follow‑ups to residential and commercial clients.
• Qualify leads, present service solutions, and close sales with a consultative approach.
• Provide accurate quotes and estimates, managing the entire move lifecycle from initial call to post‑move follow‑up.
• Maintain a clean, up‑to‑date CRM (SmartMoving, Movegistics, MoverBase, etc.) and track all interactions.
• Generate and nurture leads through phone, email outreach, and CRM engagement.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven closing ability with a hunter mentality and resilience to rejection.
• Strong persuasive communication and confidence in building rapport quickly.
• Highly organized, able to manage a full pipeline and detailed operational tasks.
• Self‑motivated, coachable, and able to work independently without supervision.
• Target‑driven, competitive, and comfortable with a scoreboard‑focused environment.
• Thick‑skinned and able to handle objections while maintaining momentum.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM platforms such as SmartMoving, Movegistics, or MoverBase.
• Proficiency in outbound cold‑calling and inbound sales techniques.
• Ability to generate accurate service quotes and manage customer relationships.
