Outreach Assistant

About the role

We are launching a new finance‑focused media channel on YouTube that produces video essays and expert interviews. As an Outreach Assistant you will help build the interview pipeline by contacting economists, analysts, authors and other thought leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential interview guests such as economists, financial analysts, authors, fund managers and journalists.
• Locate accurate contact details and preferred booking routes (email, LinkedIn, agents, podcast bookers).
• Send personalized outreach messages using templates, aiming for 10‑15 quality asks per day and tracking each interaction.
• Manage follow‑ups, scheduling, and calendar coordination across time zones, including pre‑interview logistics like briefs and confirmations.
• Maintain a continuously updated pipeline in a shared tracker, documenting every contact, thread and status.
• Over time, build media lists, monitor new book or report releases, and flag guest opportunities emerging from the news cycle.

Required profile

• Excellent written English; messages must be flawless and professional.
• Proven experience in outreach, lead generation, guest booking, PR or B2B email work, with concrete examples.
• Highly organized with strict follow‑up discipline; nothing should be dropped.
• Comfortable working with Gmail, Google Sheets and LinkedIn; experience with Apollo or Hunter is a plus.
• Reliable internet connection and backup power.
• Availability for at least four hours of overlap with European working hours and ability to start within seven days.
