PhD Faculty Position in Computer Science & IT

About the role

Superior University Official seeks a full‑time PhD Faculty member to join its Computer Science & Information Technology department in Lahore. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, lead research initiatives, and mentor students toward academic and professional excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and deliver CS & IT curricula aligned with academic standards and industry trends.
• Prepare lecture materials, assignments, and assessments using modern educational technologies and LMS platforms.
• Supervise undergraduate projects, postgraduate theses, and collaborative research activities.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in reputable journals and conferences, and seek external funding.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, accreditation, and quality‑assurance processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research, community outreach, and industry partnerships.

Required profile

• Completed PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more core CS & IT areas (e.g., software engineering, data science, AI, cybersecurity, networks, databases, information systems).
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications, conference presentations and involvement in funded research projects.
• Experience in university‑level teaching, course design, assessment and use of LMS tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, ethical pedagogy.
