Principal .NET Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal .NET Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web and backend applications. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable solutions while adhering to coding standards and modern architectural practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party systems.
• Work with SQL Server, write queries, stored procedures and optimise database performance.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting production issues.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and maintain documentation of system changes.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core / MVC and Web API.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns and SOLID principles.
