Procurement Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to lead the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effectiveness. The role will work closely with vendors, internal teams and logistics to support the company’s supply chain needs in Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and build long‑term relationships.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies.
• Conduct market research to source reliable suppliers with competitive pricing.
• Prepare purchase orders based on approved requisitions and monitor order status.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services within budget and company standards.
• Analyze pricing trends and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to secure best value.
• Monitor budgetary constraints and contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts and supplier agreements.
• Prepare and review procurement performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with inventory, warehouse and logistics teams to avoid over‑ or under‑ordering.
• Assess supplier performance on quality, delivery and cost, and implement corrective actions.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new procurement techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant Pakistani procurement laws and regulations is preferred.
