Production Officer – Manufacturing (Non-Pens.)

About the role

The Production Officer will work closely with planning, engineering, quality and EHS teams to ensure safe, on‑schedule manufacturing and packaging operations. You will coach technicians, maintain production records and drive continuous improvement in a GMP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing and packing activities to meet schedules and on‑time delivery.
• Coach, develop and supervise production technicians, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.
• Maintain accurate production records, perform in‑process checks and post data in SAP.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with engineering and resolve equipment issues.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, quality systems and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Pharm‑D, BSc or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, packaging, dispensing or production operations.
• Experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Practical knowledge of production documentation and batch‑record management.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing systems and basic MS Office skills.
• Understanding of environment, health and safety principles.
