Project Engineer – Support Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Abyss Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to support its global Oil & Gas projects. The role focuses on assisting Application Engineers with customer initiatives that leverage Abyss Fabric™ data‑analytic products to improve inspection and maintenance programs. The ideal candidate has a solid engineering background, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production workflows, including work‑pack generation, data analysis, and preparation of deliverables.
• Translate scoped requirements into structured, repeatable outputs.
• Review automated system outputs and validate them against engineering standards to ensure quality before delivery.
• Analyze inspection and condition data to support engineering assessments and identify inconsistencies or gaps.
• Partner with Application Engineers to prioritize and manage incoming requests, acting as the execution layer for customer‑facing activities.
• Maintain clear documentation of outputs, methodologies, and assumptions, contributing to workflow repeatability.
• Manage multiple concurrent deliverables, continuously improving speed, quality, and scalability of production work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or similar).
• 1–5 years of experience in engineering analysis, data processing, or technical delivery.
• Experience in the oil & gas sector is preferred.
