Regional Director – Fintech (Pakistan)

About the role

Optasia is seeking a visionary Regional Director to lead its fintech operations in Pakistan. You will shape commercial strategy, drive revenue growth and build lasting partnerships across the financial services, telecom and mobile money sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Pakistan portfolio, including accurate forecasting, budgeting and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Identify and prioritize high‑impact growth opportunities and product adoption within the assigned customer base.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of regional and account managers, ensuring clear performance targets and career development plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives of key customers, negotiating high‑value contracts and strategic alliances.
• Represent Optasia at industry events, conferences and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, operations and finance teams to deliver on strategic account plans and revenue targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to continuously refine the go‑to‑market approach.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within fintech, telecom or mobile financial services.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing regional sales teams.
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation capabilities.
• Strategic thinker with a data‑driven approach to revenue growth.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
