Remote Excel Analyst – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Excel Analyst on a contract basis to support a global information services leader. The analyst will work independently, cleaning, transforming, and visualising data in Excel to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources into structured Excel workbooks.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Build pivot tables, charts, and interactive dashboards that highlight key metrics.
• Analyse trends and generate insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Comfortable communicating findings to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced functions, formulas, and data manipulation.
• Pivot tables, charts, and dashboard creation.
• Data cleaning, validation, and transformation techniques.
• Basic statistical analysis applied within Excel.
