Remote Frontend Web Developer (HTML & CSS)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Web Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on building responsive, pixel‑perfect user interfaces using HTML and CSS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components with HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate mockups from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into functional UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance, accessibility, and load times.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile‑first development.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, and UI frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
