Remote Frontend Web Developer (HTML/CSS)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Frontend Web Developer with deep expertise in HTML and CSS to create and maintain responsive user interfaces for a high‑traffic platform. The position is contract‑based and offers the chance to collaborate with a global technology leader, translating design mock‑ups into production‑ready code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across a range of devices.
• Work closely with design teams to implement pixel‑perfect UI elements from tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with a solid grasp of semantic markup.
• Experience applying responsive design principles and mobile‑first approaches.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) or UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Comfort using browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
• Ability to translate designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into functional code.
