Remote Go Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote Go Developer on a contract basis to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs for a global software development leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise backend services using Go to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure architectural consistency and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
