Remote Mechanical Engineering Professor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Professor to design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses for a global online education platform. This fully remote contract role allows you to shape curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to accessible engineering education worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and teach mechanical engineering courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Develop and continuously update syllabi, lecture decks, and virtual lab exercises.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, projects, and provide constructive feedback.
• Offer academic support and mentorship via virtual office hours and discussion forums.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to improve learning outcomes and course engagement.

Required profile

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum three years of university‑level teaching experience.
• Proven experience with online teaching platforms and learning management systems.
• Strong expertise in core mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics.
