Remote Rust Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Rust Developer to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance, memory‑safe systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Rust‑based applications and libraries with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Write idiomatic Rust code following best practices for safety, concurrency, and efficiency.
• Integrate Rust components into existing multi‑language systems in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Optimize algorithms and data structures for low‑latency, high‑throughput workloads.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor peers, and influence architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in systems programming using Rust.
• Strong understanding of memory management, concurrency models, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, remote team environment.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and participating in peer reviews.
