Reproductive Health Officer

About the role

The Reproductive Health Officer will act as the district focal person for the Audacious Project in Lahore and Gujranwala, coordinating and implementing health‑systems activities to improve reproductive health services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute district field activity plans in collaboration with the Ipas Health Systems team.
• Maintain regular coordination with provincial and district Department of Health, health‑management offices, facility managers and partner organisations.
• Organise logistics for baseline assessments, WCPAC workshops, Training of Trainers (ToTs), provider and cascade trainings, and competency follow‑up meetings.
• Map and verify public and private health facilities, assess readiness, and support selection of private maternity homes.
• Conduct baseline surveys, facility and provider assessments using approved project tools.
• Collect, analyse and report data, and ensure timely sharing of workplans and progress with stakeholders.
• Represent Ipas in provincial, district and technical meetings, document decisions and follow up on actions.
• Identify implementation barriers, propose solutions and escalate unresolved issues.

Required profile

• Experience in health‑systems strengthening, reproductive or maternal health programmes.
• Familiarity with working in district‑level public and private health settings in Pakistan.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to travel within the assigned districts and work on‑site.
