Security Implementation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a technically skilled, customer‑focused Security Implementation Engineer to join our growing team. You will lead the end‑to‑end integration of new clients into COGNNA’s security monitoring platform, ensuring seamless onboarding and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding for new customers, from kickoff to full operational status.
• Integrate diverse log sources (firewalls, servers, cloud platforms, applications) into our security data lake.
• Develop and configure custom parsers and connectors for accurate data ingestion.
• Troubleshoot agent installations, log forwarding, and connectivity issues on Linux and Windows environments.
• Act as the primary technical resource for complex infrastructure and OS‑level problems.
• Document onboarding processes and create automation scripts to improve efficiency.
• Provide security advisory guidance on logging best practices and architecture.
• Collaborate with the SOC and account managers for smooth client handover.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity implementation or support role (SOC Engineer, SIEM Engineer, Security Consultant, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot production Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, independent work style, and excellent communication skills.
