Security Researcher – Remote Vulnerability Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Researcher to join a leading technology company on a full‑time, remote basis. The role focuses on discovering and analyzing software vulnerabilities in critical systems, delivering proof‑of‑concept exploits, and guiding remediation efforts to protect products used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced vulnerability research across codebases, APIs, and infrastructure components.
• Develop and validate proof‑of‑concept exploits to assess impact and severity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and test security patches and mitigations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, attack vectors, and security research trends.
• Document findings in detailed technical reports and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in vulnerability discovery and exploitation techniques.
• Experience with reverse engineering and binary analysis.
• Proficiency in analyzing operating system internals and memory corruption bugs.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in written reports.

Required skills

• Programming: C, C++, Python, Go.
• Reverse‑engineering tools: IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja.
• Fuzzing frameworks: AFL, LibFuzzer, Honggfuzz.
• Operating systems: Linux, Windows.
• Static and dynamic analysis tools: Coverity, Fortify, Valgrind.
• Knowledge of buffer overflows, race conditions, logic flaws, and memory‑corruption techniques.
• Network protocol analysis and security assessment.
