Senior Associate – Account Receivable Specialist

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Account Receivable Management Team (ARMT) supporting the MENA region. The role focuses on maintaining accurate receivable ledgers, resolving cash account issues, and collaborating with finance and engagement teams to ensure timely collections and cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable ledgers for multiple MENA countries.
• Provide accurate information to the AR cash application team for correct payment allocation.
• Liaise with on‑shore finance and client‑serving teams to obtain payment and remittance details.
• Identify and allocate payments promptly, driving process improvements.
• Monitor unapplied cash, perform research, apply corrections, and support issue resolution.
• Investigate and resolve internal queries related to allocation, reallocation, and remittance validation.
• Process client refunds, securing approvals and coordinating with Accounts Payable.
• Collaborate with the Interfirm Management team to resolve inter‑firm payment allocation issues.
• Prepare customer statements, balance confirmations, and support client account reconciliations.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in finance, business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of finance experience with a focus on accounts receivable, cash application, billing and collections.
• Hands‑on experience using SAP.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
