Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team as an individual contributor. The role provides high‑quality legal support for our operations in Pakistan and other jurisdictions, covering commercial contracts, civil law, marketing, fintech and digital regulation. You will ensure compliance in a fast‑moving environment while delivering business‑oriented legal solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end legal support for daily operations.
• Advise on civil, commercial, consumer, competition, marketing/advertising, ride‑hailing licensing, fintech and digital law matters.
• Review and negotiate contracts and internal policies.
• Assist in claims resolution and dispute management.
• Review and approve advertising and promotional activities for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor upcoming regulations and assess their impact on the business.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on regional and global projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an in‑house counsel or at a law firm supporting IT/tech companies.
• Experience in civil, commercial, consumer and media/advertising law.
• Familiarity with fintech and digital platform regulation is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English (C1‑C2) and fluency in the local language.
• Experience working in international environments is a plus.
