Senior Storage & Backup Administrator

About the role

Systems Limited is looking for a senior professional to lead the administration, protection and continuous availability of enterprise storage and data‑protection platforms across on‑premises, object and cloud environments. The role owns backup and recovery, cyber‑recovery vault operations, storage infrastructure, Windows file services and disaster‑recovery activities while providing technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage the Commvault Backup Platform for virtual machines, databases, Kubernetes clusters and enterprise file shares.
• Operate Commvault Cloud (Metallic) for Microsoft 365 backup and recovery.
• Design and manage backup policies, workload protection, agent deployments and restores using Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM).
• Manage Dell Cyber Recovery Solution (CRS) Vault, including isolated cyber‑vault policies and air‑gapped data synchronization.
• Administer Azure Native Backup and OCI Native Backup environments.
• Maintain Dell PowerScale (Isilon) file clusters, Azure Files, Azure Blob Storage, OCI Object Storage and Pure Storage FlashBlade.
• Configure and manage Windows File Server clusters, DFS Namespaces and DFS Replication.
• Execute disaster‑recovery failover and failback activities and support Business Continuity Planning.
• Monitor RPO/RTO targets, troubleshoot issues and maintain operational documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of enterprise storage and backup administration experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with the listed platforms and the ability to work independently while providing technical leadership.
