Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer to join an e‑commerce team that powers high‑traffic, real‑time user experiences for a global technology leader. The position is full‑time and ideal for new‑grad talent eager to build scalable backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Profile, debug and improve system performance through algorithmic optimisations.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career software engineer with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and system design principles.

• Go, Python or Java programming.
