Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer to join an e‑commerce team that powers high‑traffic, real‑time user experiences for a global technology leader. The position is full‑time and ideal for new‑grad talent eager to build scalable backend services and solve complex performance challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a distributed micro‑services architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑graduate or early‑career software engineer.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, micro‑services, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
