Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a global technology leader and build high‑performance desktop applications using ElectronJS. This full‑time, remote position offers the chance to work on a widely used platform and collaborate with cross‑functional product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications with ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Implement new features, optimise performance and ensure scalability.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and clean code.
• Write unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by users or identified during testing.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in ElectronJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with testing tools like Jest or Mocha.
