Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, develop, and maintain desktop applications. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work with a global technology leader on high-impact products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise features to ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.

Required profile

• Proficiency in ElectronJS and JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Experience with Node.js and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
