Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, build, and maintain high‑performance desktop applications. This remote position works with a global technology leader, allowing you to contribute to a widely used platform while collaborating with cross‑functional product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Translate product requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified during QA.

Required profile

• Proven experience building desktop applications with ElectronJS.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with product and design teams.
