Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a global leader in financial services. The position is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining core financial platforms that handle real‑time transactions for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services for high‑volume financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement security controls to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code and follow best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure system reliability and minimal downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience with backend development using Java, Python, or Go.
• Background in financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
