Software Engineer – FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading financial services platform. The position is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that handle real‑time financial transactions for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for high‑volume financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement security controls to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, minimise downtime and improve system resilience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development using Java, Python or Go.
• Background with financial transaction systems, payment processing or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases for financial data storage.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
