Software Engineer – Human Data Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable human data platforms. The role focuses on building data pipelines and backend services that process large volumes of human‑generated datasets. You will work remotely with a global team to ensure performance, reliability, and security of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines for large‑scale human‑generated datasets.
• Develop and maintain backend services supporting real‑time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to guarantee data integrity and accessibility.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to sustain platform reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability and performance.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for backend development.
• Experience with distributed systems such as Kafka or Spark.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
