Software Engineer – Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Micro Platforms to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. The position is fully remote and supports a global leader in the technology, information, and internet sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate micro‑platforms that are performant, reliable, and highly scalable.
• Develop backend services using modern languages and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for high‑quality code.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Go, Python, Java (or similar).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
