Software Engineer – Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable micro‑platforms that power core business services. This fully remote, full‑time position offers the chance to influence architecture and drive innovation within a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, reliable micro‑platforms.
• Develop and optimise backend services using modern practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Strong grasp of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and container orchestration.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Go, Python, Java (or similar).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools and IaC: Terraform, Ansible.
